how can I propose one of my ex-student?

I am a scientist; previously I was a lecturer of a Private Engineering College in my hometown. After leaving the previous job, I felt that I am in love with one of my student. I want to propose her but afraid what if she doesn’t except it? I was 121 Kg fat man when I leave college now I am 60 kg(underweight)my height is 177cm.In the process of weight lose I am infected with tuberculosis virus is well.
I know she was in a relationship with one of my favourite student. I know he loves her till now after there official break up also. What can I do? I discuss this matter with one of her best friend but she told that she could not help me in that matter. Please help. I am loosing my puissance as this thinks are taking for such a long time about one and a half year long.

This is a complicated situation. You cannot go and tell her directly that you like her because you are unaware of her feelings. Also, being a lecturer, you need to maintain your dignity. You need to convey your message to her through someone. Depending upon her response, you can proceed.

Also, if you know her FB id, you can start some conversation with her. Once you get friendly with her, you can propose her.
